Continental & Eastern Europe

At Travel Concepts, we have built an enviable reputation. We specialise in providing personalised and customised itineraries which allow our clients to touch, feel and really experience the History, Art & Culture of the countries they visit, rather than just passing through!

To those clients who book airline and other reservations with us, we offer carefully researched lists of personalised sightseeing, walking, shopping and restaurant information, which is constantly upgraded.

We try to steer our clients away from the modern and unattractive hotels in cities and towards the unique and traditional style hotels in each country . B&B's and Chateaux, through to Villas and Agriturismi.

In particular, we have a vast array of suggested self-drive and train itineraries through Eastern Europe. We can also assist you with self-drive itineraries through many other countries . just ask us and one of our knowledgeable Consultants will be able to assist you.

Prague, Vienna and Budapest

The three cities of Prague, Vienna and Budapest are ideal to put together for an itinerary of about 10 days.  This is not a driving itinerary.  Fly into Prague from any European city; stay four nights in any one of a dozen attractive hotels.  Allow one day for a coach tour or a train trip to the medieval town Cesky Krumlov with its grand houses and narrow cobbled streets.

From Prague, travel by train to Vienna, one of the most elegant cities in the world.  Four days in Vienna can be filled so easily with sightseeing and the evenings can be spent at concerts or dining on the best Austrian cuisine.

It is then possible to go by Hydrofoil down the Danube to Budapest.  This is a five hours trip and passes through some of the loveliest parts of the countryside.  Two or three nights in Budapest finishes off this short introduction to the cities of Eastern Europe.  Fly out of Budapest.
